my last day and night!

this morning i took court up to hot and crusty of course, which she loveed! hahaha and then we went over to central park and sat for a bit by the pond, which is another area i love. then we went shopping down 5th avenue a little :) then we went over to crumbs! i got the elvis cupcake--it was HUGE! it was vanilla cake with banana cream cheese frosting swirled with peanut butter and then peanut butter chips on top and banana whipped cream inside----i felt sick after finishing hahahahah court got the reese's cupcake but couldnt even finish hers :) hahaha then court had to leave unfortunately :( and i had to pack!!!!! ups was picking up allll of my stuff that night! so as i was stressfully packing all of my stuff, court was stuff in traffic!! and she missed her flight!!!!!!! hahaha so she was going to stay another night with me yayy!!!!!! rachel and i made reservations at pastis--so chic! for my last night so i added court :) so after ups finnnnnalllyyy came ughh we went to have dinner at pastis! we sat outside it was soooo cute! and got belinis heheh and then had to go to bbq for my last night! and then we went to tortilla flats a really small restaurant because rachel's sister was there and said blake lively was there!!!!!!!! we saw her sooo close!!! she was gorgeous in person!!! way prettier even than on the show and in magazines!!! after that we went over to asian pub and got my last lycheetinis hahah and then went back to the room where we stuffed out faces with drunk food hahahaha and then went to bed :(

the good life :)

so basically now that raissa left and court is here, we are doing the exact same things all over again hahahah because its my last week in nyc too :(!!!!

so today we did like the same day of raissa's first day visiting.....

cafe gitane for breakfast with rachel too...avocado toast of course!!!! we are sooo obsessed that court and i decided we would go for dinner that night too hahaha because their other food is soo good too....after that we walked around soho, and then down to canal street, and then over to bleeker of course to show her perry street with carrie's doorstep, pure dark, bond number 9, marc jacobs accessory store, and magnolia cupcakes of course! we ate the cupcakes in the same park as raissa and i ate ours :) after that we went over to the meatpacking district to go into the stores and walk along the high line, and then i showed her chelsea piers and the frying pan of course! then we walked through washington square and went over to paradis (cooper's favorite chocolate chip cookies are from this cute little french cafe) and so of course we got a giant chocolate chip cookie.....it is sooooo hot and really nice weather!!! then we went up to the met and i walked court through the impressionism and model as a muse exhibit (that was my 6th or 7th time to the met hahahaha) and then we went to cafe gitane for dinner!!! it was AMAZING!!! we got avocado toast to start tehehe and then this morrocan cous cous with hummus omg it was sooo delicious!!!!  after that we met up with matt and went to asian pub to get lycheetinis--the usual and then we just hung out for a bit in my room

Raissa's last day :( and Court's visit!

Today was Raissa's last day :(!!!! we went up to hot and crusty for the last time haha and then walked over to my favorite place in the upper east side of central park--cedal hill....then we were walking around and guess what we saw!!! they were filming for the movie remember me with robert pattinson--the guy from twilight--sooo hot! it was soo cool, but we could barely see, but i knew they would be there all day.....then raissa had to leave :(!!!!!!

after that i met up with courtney and her mom and brother and we went to go have lunch at serendipity, but of course the wait was sooo long and they hadn't even had breakfast yet so we got lunch at some cute french restaurant near by which was very tasty and then went to serendipity afterwards and each ate our own frozen hot chocolates soooo yummy! then i took court to dylan's candy bar hahah and then over to watch robert pattinson and we saw him soooo close!! he was SOO HOT! then courtney had to go to see the little mermaid on broadway with her family so i went back to my room and made din din and then courtney moved in with me :) because her parents were leaving early in the morning and she was going to stay an extra night....i took court to bbq of course! she LOVED IT! today i also said goodbye to everyone at pinkberry :( they are really going to miss me ....but i got like five larges for court and i to eat that night hahahahaha pink berry also got these parfaits which are sooo good! with like granola and tons of fruit but i substituted it for cocoa pebbles....yum! 

Raissa's last full day :(!

This morning was soo amazing....we woke up early (got our usual bagels and grey dog's coffee) and then went down to battery park and took the ferry to staten island and saw the statue of liberty!!! it was such a PERFECT! gorgeous day for it! and sooo cool! we didnt go up into the statue because the tickets sell out at like 7:30 am every morning but the line was sooo long anyways....and we didnt get off at ellis island but saw it hahaha because we were on a mission this afternoon! we were going to go to the woodbury outlets! a place in like the middle of no where---all the way in new jersey close to connecticut even! with alllll these outlets! so we had to take like two trains and a cab to get there--wow what a trip ahahah but we finally made it there---and it was soo overwhelming hahaha but we got some good stuff! then we split a cab with these other girls because the next train wasnt coming at harriman (our little station) until 11pm! so we drove to the earlier station and basically missed the first train ughhh hahaha but what a trip! but we made it back thankfully! we missed the movies at sundown in bryant park haha but instead we got a nice yummy thai dinner at republic! with some frozen mango martinis :) and then ate some more dutch sweet tehehehe

Raissa's visit Day 5!!

this morning Raissa got her usual avocado bagel (i totally go her hooked haha) and i got my usual grey dog's coffee muffin...then we walked down to washington square and then took the subway up to the met, where i showed raissa the model as a muse exhibit and all the amazing impressionism, it was soo fun to show her the van gogh that she hasnt seen...then we sat on the steps for a bit :) after that i made raissa try boba ahaha but it was not a good place so i was bummed because it tasted not as good haha but she thought it was pretty weird and then went to times square! we loved the toys are us store! hahah we got student rush tickets for the philanthropist--a play with matthew brodderik in it--we wanted to get ones for billy elliot but it was too hard and same with others...and it was the last day for the philanthropist! it ended up being really funny so that was fun...after that we ran into courtney and her family!!!!!!!! it was soo good to see them all! then we went over to bryant park and scarfed down crumbs cupcakes hahaha i got the good guy--a funfetti one :) then i had to go to work unfortunately....i got off super late for work so that was the end of our night 

Raissa's visit Day 4!!

This morning i took raissa to dunkin donuts hahaha because she haddd to have a donut....i got a muffin from the grey dog's coffee house which was soo good! its the cutest little breakfast place....Raissa and i went down to ground zero and the financial district which was really cool, and then went up to the brooklyn bridge--we didnt get very far walking along it haha then we went to canal street which was crazzzyyyy...it was soo fun how many fake tiffany's and david yurman they had hahah but raissa and i both bought fake chanel purses!!! they look soo real hahaha it was soo funny because we went through like this little whole in the wall to get to the good stuff hahaha After that we went to grand central station and the palace hotel--so gossip girl :) then i had to go to work boohoo...but i introduced raissa to pink berry and she LOVEED IT! i got her so many free ones heheeh...she even came and met me on my break and we went and got real new york style pizza ( only a dollar a slice! haha) after work me raissa and sarah my roommate went to asian pub where we got yummy lycheetinis :) so fun!

Day 3 of Raissa's Visit!

So this morning we woke up early again! i took Raissa to hot and crusty of course! and she was amaaaazed by the giant bagels! (the bagels are wayyy smaller in holland and definitely not as good she said haha) after that we walked along madison avenue and lexington avenue and all along the upper east side....raissa and i went into bcbg and she bought her graduation dress!!! it look gorgeous on her :)! After that we went and shopped along fifth avenue...raissa loved the apple store near the plaza, she bought a really cool case for her iphone...then i unfortunately had to go to work :( but i loveee working at pink berry teheheh it was crazzzzyzyyyy day because it was pink friday---we were introducing the new flavors--passion fruit and coconut, which are both SOOO good! and we also had liquid toppings--honey, caramel, and pom juice, and we were giving away free pink berry's from 5-9pm OMG IT WAS CRAZYYY! i was SOOO exhausted! there was a line around the block for literally the whole four hours oh goodness! but i got lots of free pink berry of course ahah and they ordered pizza for us which was nice....after that i rushed back home and rachel, raissa, and i went to serendipity for dessert!! it was SOO fun! and SOO GOOD! we all shared a frozen hot chocolate and then the cinammon crumb sundae which was HUGE! but easily devoured hahaha it had cinammon ice cream, applie pie, whipped cream, and caramel....it was soo fun! serendipity is adorable!
